About the Partners Circle
At Tiyatien Health (TH), we firmly believe that improving global health is achieved through broad, multi-faceted partnerships and coalitions. Rising from decades of war, former Liberian refugees and American health professionals formed Tiyatien Health in early 2007. The organization's impact has been dramatic. From revolutionizing access to HIV treatment to helping operate a regional health center serving over 300,000 people, we seek to prove rural communities can build a model world-class health system in the poorest corner of one of the world's poorest countries. We wish to form a community of committed supporters to partner with us in this bold endeavor. Thus is born the Tiyatien Health Partners Circle.
Together, the Partners Circle will sustain TH's life-saving projects during a critical juncture when the global financial crisis and limited funding sources threatens to slow TH's progress. TH Partners will become our project's stalwart supporters in our long but certain journey toward justice in health.
What Your Gift Will Support
We ask members of TH Partners Circle, individuals and organizations, each to contribute at least $1 a day for one year. These life-saving funds will:
- Rebuild Tubman hospital, the only health center in a region of over 200,000 women, children and families.
- Fairly compensate Tiyatien Health's clinicians and community health workers, who save lives in southeast Liberia every day.
- Strengthen the HIV Equity Initiative -- Liberia's first community-based and largest rural HIV treatment program, providing care to over 400 women, children and families living with AIDS.
- Support women through gender equity programs and families through a microfinance program.
- Provide food to patients who suffer from hunger, and provide transportation to those whose poverty inhibits their access to care.

Tiyatien Health is an all volunteer-run 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charity. All gifts and donations are tax-deductible and go directly to improving the lives of the communities we serve.
